Hercules DM achieve FSC membership– a step towards sustainable business solutions

Hercules Direct Marketing, a progressive agency, has become one of the first agencies in the direct marketing industry to become a member of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Group Chain of Custody Scheme run by Print and Media Certification Ltd.

This membership is a testament to the dedication from Hercules DM to achieve sustainability through campaigns run on behalf of its clients. A forward thinking approach to expanding their environmental policy has been to achieve this FSC membership, whilst also developing and streamlining its services which benefit the environment.

Through the FSC Chain of Custody, Hercules will be able to buy print, with peace of mind that it is not contributing to global forest destruction. From here on, all of Hercules' print and packaging will be endorsed with the FSC marque, allowing its clients to benefit from obtaining FSC product endorsement.

The FSC is an international organisation, which ensures that there are long-term timber supplies, while protecting the environment and the people who depend on them. It guarantees that all the trees that are harvested are replaced and that areas of the forest are protected to conserve wildlife and plants.

As one of Hercules' key clients, Tony Humphreys, Group Marketing Manager of the Anglia Regional Co-Operative Society comments "I fully support Hercules DM in its decision to obtain membership.
